Patients are personally matched with fully trained CAREGivers, depending on their needs, care requirements or interests. At Home Instead, we truly value the relationship between a client and a CAREGiver, for this reason we aim to have the same CAREGiver providing care for our clients during each and every visit.
That way, each patient is regularly greeted by a friendly, familiar face. Each of our CAREGivers are carefully screened and trained. And only when we’d be happy for them to care for our own family, will they care for someone else’s. The Home Instead care management team, can regularly update the patients medical professional team as to their progress at home. Whether a patient needs short term care for a few hours per week or longer term 24hr care, we can develop a plan that will suit.

Quality Training and Education
We’ve developed our very own, nationally accredited, in-house training program – known as ACE (Advanced CAREGiver Education). This prepares each of our CAREGivers for the challenges of their role, and the needs of our clients and their families. Pairing quality training with us personally matching CAREGivers for compatibility with patients, we provide a relationship-based model of care and support to seniors as opposed to merely task-based support – so that in addition to providing a helping hand to patients, a genuine bond is fostered, and the patient also has companionship as they’re cared for.
