Our Mission
Our Mission
In home care to enhance the lives of ageing adults and their families.
Everything we do at Home Instead is driven by our universal mission to enhance the lives of ageing adults and their families.
Every day, we strive to make this mission a reality in every home in which we have the privilege of caring with our quality care, companionship and support.
Most New Zealanders want to continue living independently in the comfort of their own home as they age. We want to be able to grow older at home with independence, choice, flexibility and control over our lives. Home Instead is committed to helping older New Zealanders and their families achieve this by providing the best in-home care and support to meet our client’s needs.
Changing the Face of Ageing©

CAREGiver Leadership
We take special care of people. And at the heart of our business are our CAREGivers. A diverse group of caring, compassionate and dependable people dedicated to providing older New Zealanders the best in-home care and support they need, and deserve.
We personally match our CAREGivers to your individual preferences and ensure consistency of CAREGivers supporting you, regardless of your changing needs or circumstances.
You rely on us and for this reason all of our CAREGivers are fully insured and undergo pre-employment checks including screening for mandatory requirements, structured interviews, comprehensive reference and criminal background checks.
All Home Instead CAREGivers receive a personalised orientation and undertake our unique, five-phase in-house GRAD training program – Growth Through Reading and Development.
