Meet our team of caring, compassionate professionals, dedicated to providing you and your family the best in-home care and support for your individual needs and preferences.
Having spent 11 years in Australia playing a pivotal leadership role in the growth of Home Instead, Michelle has returned home and set her sights on growing the Home Instead business model in New Zealand. Australia continues to undergo significant industry reform with Michelle recognised as an aged care industry leader and often invited to consult and collaborate with Government and peak bodies.
She looks forward to applying this valuable experience and changing the face of ageing in New Zealand, with a true relationship-based approach to home care.
She is passionate about making a difference in clients lives and improving outcomes.
Carly comes from a background of Operational and Human Resources Leadership within Hospitality and Retail. She is originally from England and emigrated to New Zealand in 2017. Prior to moving to NZ, Carly spent many years working overseas, including 12 years onboard Cruise Ships, as well as living in Dubai and the Maldives. Carly has a passion for all things People & Culture. She loves to support the invaluable and hardworking team at Home Instead by ensuring a positive workplace culture and prioritising employee wellbeing. Carly loves to spend her time helping and supporting others to create positive experiences in their lives.
Karen is a registered nurse and has worked in aged care facilities and Mercy Hospice, where she provided palliative care within the community and served as a nurse educator. Karen remains devoted to ensuring that older adults receive the necessary support to improve their quality of life and positively impact those around them.
Darranique Magele
Darranique comes from a sales and retail management background. She helped care for her Grandad who had a stroke and was in a rest home for over 10 years. She is family-oriented and looking after her parents and family is an important value to her. She eventually found her way into Home Instead to help older adults in any possible way that she can to improve their quality of life. She is vibrant, highly motivated, and enjoys meeting new people.
